Diding - Dhalkebar
Litmus Industries has been approved by Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) as the only Nepali manufacturer qualified to supply conductors for the Dhalkebar–Bathnaha cross-border transmission line, a critical link in Nepal’s 900 MW Arun-3 Hydropower Project.
Under the contract, Litmus will manufacture and supply 2,799 kilometers of 400 kV ACSR Moose Conductors—marking the first domestic production of this capacity in Nepal. The approval followed a comprehensive PGCIL factory inspection covering production capacity, quality control systems, and manufacturing infrastructure. This project establishes Litmus Industries as a trusted international conductor supplier and reinforces Nepal’s growing role in cross-border energy infrastructure between Nepal and India.
Hetauda-Inaruwa-Dhalkebar
Litmus Industries is a key supplier for the Dhalkebar–Inaruwa 400 kV Transmission Line Project, a critical high-voltage corridor connecting eastern and central Nepal across 288 kilometers. The company supplied 3,600 kilometers of 400 kV ACSR Moose Conductors to the Nepal Electricity Authority—marking Nepal’s first domestically manufactured conductors of this capacity and a significant step toward reducing reliance on imports.
The project plays a vital role in strengthening the national grid, improving electricity reliability, and supporting Nepal’s long-term energy security goals.
Bhutan
Litmus Industries exported various sizes of ACSR conductors and a range of LV Power cables to Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC), the sole electricity provider in Bhutan responsible for delivering reliable and affordable power nationwide. Established in 2002, BPC plays a central role in Bhutan’s development vision, contributing to Gross National Happiness through sustainable energy access.
Litmus Industries’ conductors and cables support BPC’s national transmission and distribution network. This partnership reflects Litmus’ proven manufacturing quality and positions the company as a leading Nepali exporter of electrical conductors and cables across South Asia.
Dumre–Damauli
Litmus Industries supplied ACSR conductors for the Dumre–Damauli 132 kV Transmission Line Project, a key infrastructure initiative strengthening Nepal’s western power grid. The project included the construction of a new 21-kilometer transmission line and upgrades to existing infrastructure, significantly improving electricity transmission capacity and reliability between Dumre and Damauli.
